  Tuesday will see the release of whatever information was uncovered from GDC 2009 about Funcom's next MMORPG, The Secret World. In the meantime, the anticipation builds in the official TSW forum. It began with a warning that dark days are coming once again:

  "The hour has arrived. No more pretenders. We are gathering. Quietly. Secretly. Dark days are coming and the fate of this world is at stake."

   The Secret World fans started analyzing the post, and managed to uncover a very creepy video, some Twittering from Funcom's Ragnar Tornquist, and a new web site. Some folks even managed to solve a series of puzzles and received a key. Current speculation is that the key is for the upcoming Secret World closed beta, but nothing has been confirmed. Follow the thread in the official forum and look at the evidence for yourself!

  Funcom, best known for Age of Conan and The Longest Journey adventure games, has been working on The Secret World for years, but it only confirmed the project's existence in 2007. Very little has been revealed since.
