Check the nearby pigpen to find Farmer Dirk, the owner of the pigs. Talk to him, and he will ask you to buy the secret world gold help him gather his pigs into the pen.

To make a pig move, walk up behind it and bump into it; it (usually) will run a short distance in the direction it was facing, though the direction is also affected by the angle from which you bumped into it.

By continually pushing the hogs, you should be able to push all of them back into the pen; there are between six and eight hogs. Once all of them are inside, talk to Dirk again, and he will give you 25g.

You can only do this mini-game one time per character, even though it isn’t technically a quest. This isn’t a very efficient way to make money, but it can be handy if you’re still saving up to buy your first identification kit.

“Charr in the Catacombs” Quest: As part of its rewards, this quest gives 100g, a nice financial boost for so early in the game. Prince Rurik inside Ascalon City gives this quest; you can talk to him up on the northwestern wall of the city.

You can also find Rurik outside by the gate in Lakeside County once you have cleared some of your initial quests.
